As we reported, today, rescuers were catching a wounded swan in Uzhgorod. After that, it was handed over to the animal rights protection organization "Barbos", which continues the story of the wounded bird rescue:
"The operation was performed, complex osteosynthesis. It was very difficult to put the bones together, because some pieces were missing… The operation lasted more than an hour. It is difficult to say how it will heal, because of those missing pieces that had to be replaced with artificial materials…
Now the swan is resting and recovering after the operation in the Transcarpathian regional naturalistic center, where it will undergo all the necessary procedures and rehabilitation under the care of experienced professionals! "
