Students of Transcarpathia are invited to participate in the all-Ukrainian project “Agents of Changes. Children”

The school "Agents of Changes" is an all-Ukrainian educational project for teenagers, which encourages self-development, responsible citizenship, proactive participation and community development.

This year 125 children from all over Ukraine will be able to take part in the project. It is planned to hold 5 schools (25 participants) in 4 cities – Kyiv, Lviv, Vinnytsia and Poltava.

According to the representative of the project in Transcarpathia Lyudmila Syuzeva, every child can become a creator of changes, albeit small ones, but extremely important for their environment, schools, and in the future – city and the country as a whole. "Agents of Changes. Children" is a project that gives schoolchildren the opportunity and opens up prospects. It is movement, energy, faith and the power of dreams. It is an incentive to change and to inspire others.

Here, in a friendly atmosphere, in the circle of like-minded people and professional trainers, children acquire knowledge that they cannot get in a regular school. They implement their own projects, discuss, exchange ideas and experiences.   In addition, the 15 most active participants will receive a bonus – 5-day leader tour to Italy," – Lyudmila Syuzeva says.

In order to become a part of the big team of young agents you need by September 30, 2018:

– read Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural speech;

– watch the video;

– write an essay on: "2048: My Impact on the History – the City / Community, which the Whole Country Knows About" (Chronicles of the Future) (400-500 words) and send it at: scakyiv@gmail.com;

– fill in the form at this link.

Only 125 participants will be selected. The results of the competition will be announced in early October 2018.

The project is funded by the United Nations Democracy Foundation (UNDEF). The organizers provide accommodation, meals, handouts.
