According to forecasts of the Transcarpathian Hydrometeorological Center, on November 30 and December 1, heavy rain is expected throughout the region, and heavy wet snow in the mountains. Weather forecasters warn of fogs, ice and snowstorms in mountainous areas.
In the morning and afternoon of November 30, strengthening of the southwest wind to 17-22, on the highlands – up to 25-28 m / s. In mountainous areas: fog, ice, snowstorms, ice on the roads.
November 30 – December 1, on the rivers of the region, water levels are expected to increase above the levels as of 08.00 on November 29 by 0.3-1.0 m within the native banks, in the lower reaches of the Borzhava – up to 2.0 m, with water entering onto the floodplain.
In locations of heavy rainfall, significant local run-off may be formed, rapid increase in water levels in small watercourses, – the Transcarpathian weather forecasters inform.
