On Luchkay street (the cozy street that leads from Koryatovich square up to the cathedral), residents put stones on the pavement to prevent rude drivers from parking there.
Some people equipped special devices near their offices, apparently not only to prevent others from parking but to reserve a space for their own cars.
In general, it is impossible to walk the narrow sidewalk on the street – several cars parked close to the buildings block the pavement.
By the way, the Chief of the Traffic Police of Uzhgorod Oleksiy Spivak believes that dealing with violators of parking regulations not with fines but with "information war" and "improving the culture of road users" may be quite effective method.
