State Traffic Police to check buses of Transcarpathia

From now on till June 5, 2012 in Transcarpathia begins a complex of country-wide preventive measures in passenger transport, code-named "Bus-2012."

When checking the buses the emphasis is put on compliance with safety, especially during the transportation of organized groups of children. During the inspection of the transportation of passengers by buses a special attention will be also paid to the activity of a road safety specialist, storage of vehicles on a parking lot, the organization of pre-route control, technical condition of buses and compulsory medical examination of drivers.

Appropriate measures will be taken on violations of safety requirements by drivers on buses and passenger transport.
Inspections of business entities that have a license to provide services for the transportation of passengers by bus, providing services for the technical inspection of vehicles before leaving the station and the medical examination of drivers will be carried out.
Traffic Police of Transcarpathia is calling on all drivers who are engaged in passenger transportation, especially drivers carrying children, not to allow emergency situations, to be careful while driving and to comply with traffic regulations.
