Uzhgorod chamber choir "Cantus" held a charitable concert. During the "Prayer for Ukraine" (that was the title of the program and the album presented at the concert), they were raising funds for Ukrainian soldiers.
As announced by the artistic director and conductor of the choir Emil Sokach at the end of the program, they raised more than 4 thousand hryvnias. Soldiers, who returned from the hot east of the country for vacation, were invited to the concert as special guests.
During the 35-minute-long concert on the stage of the Philharmonic, they performed pieces by Yevhen Stankovych, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Kyrylo Stetsenko, Georgy Sviridov, Oleksandr Strumsky and Mykola Leontovych.
