Smugglers with 16 boxes of cigarettes were detained in Transcarpathia

The cigarettes smuggling was already twice revealed by the border guards of ‘Salovka’ department.

Three men were detained near the border with Hungary. A juvenile was among them. They tried to move 6 boxes of cigarettes to a neighboring country territory.

Another offender was detained with 10 boxes of tobacco products.

All detainees did not have any documents, which could help to identify their personality, but they said that they are citizens of Ukraine.

Offenders were brought to the border guards department in order to find out the circumstances of the offence and to draw up the administrative and procedural documents. The court will decide the legal decision on their responsibilities under the law, – informs the Chop border guard squad press service.
