The exhibition that represents 100 Ukrainian artists from the late period of 1950s to the present will be opened in the House of Artist tomorrow at 4 p.m. This is a part of artistic project ‘Communication XXI’, which is designed to introduce the Modern Ukrainian visual art in its integrity, taking into account the wealth of its historical specificity.
The selection of artists was conducted by experts from different cities and each defined its own hundred of artists. On the basis of overall results was formed the list. Art critic Oksana Havrosh represented Uzhgorod.
Therefore to the list of hundred of artists, who represent the modern Ukrainian art, entered Transcarpathian artists Pavlo Bedzir, Pavlo Kovach and Robert Saller, and three Kiev citizens, who have Transcarpathian origin – Tiberiy Silvashi, Oleksadr Suholit and Boris Firtsak.
Each will be represented by three works at the exhibition.
The curators of the project are well-known art experts Hlib Vysheslavsky and Oleh Sydor-Hibelynda and the author of Encyclopedia ‘The terminology of Modern Art’.
