Situation regarding COVID-19 in Transcarpathia and Uzhgorod as of the morning of May 2

53 Transcarpathians, who were confirmed to have coronavirus by PCR method, have recovered.

496 people have been diagnosed with COVID-19, including 125 health care workers, 22 children.

Nine people with COVID-19 confirmed by PCR method have died.

As of the morning of May 2, 2901 PCR tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the region.

This was reported by the Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

As for Uzhgorod, as of the morning of May 2, 187 Uzhgorod residents have been confirmed to have COVID-19. This was reported by the health department of Uzhgorod city council and Uzhgorod city and district branch of the State Institution "Transcarpathian Regional Laboratory Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine". 

23 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the past 24 hours. 53 coronavirus patients are health care workers. 

12 people have recovered  

1 person has died.
  
40 Uzhgorod residents are hospitalized, 134 are on outpatient treatment, 

35 Uzhgorod citizens are in self-isolation 
 
In the last 24 hours, mobile crews have made 1 visit, 4 samples of biological materials have been collected for polymerase chain reaction test. In total, since the onset of the disease, 171 visits have been made, 669 samples of biological materials have been collected for PCR tests.
