Serhiy Fedaka on the choice of Ukrainians and some political forces

Political scientist, historian, professor of UzhNU Serhiy Fedaka attributed unexpectedly good results of the "Opposition block" to the fact that the population of the eastern and southern Ukraine voted for clear messages and brief slogans, which were announced by the "Opposition block". And the "Samopich" took advantage of the image of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy.

 Serhiy Fedaka said that in a comment to a correspondent of the Press Club. "There was a redistribution of votes from the Sylna Ukraina to the Opposition block. The result of the Samopomich was a big surprise. People on the list are not too well known, but the image of Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy played a significant role" – Serhiy Fedaka said.

The professor attributes the victory of the Opposition block over the Sylna Ukraina to the fact that voters demanded concrete and clear slogana: "The eastern electorate demanded clear messages, short slogans, that the Opposition block gave them. Sylna Ukraina was too high brow. That’s why they have such a result" – S. Fedaka said.

He said that despite such low popularity of the Sylna Ukraina, it is "too early to write Serhiy Tigipko off".
