The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration, Oleksiy Petrov, instructed the SBU Office in Transcarpathian Region, as well as the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police to form and organize the work of special groups at the checkpoint "Chop-Zahony".
The task of these groups is to prevent the movement of commercial goods across the state border of Ukraine and Hungary, which are imported by private entrepreneurs as parcels from Ukrainian citizens living abroad.
The scan of the relevant order of the head of the regional state administration was published today by journalist Vitaliy Glagola.
Thus, it is unclear whether Transcarpathian workers will be able to send home parcels from abroad and how they will be checked at the border in Chop. It is also has not been reported whether similar groups will operate at other checkpoints in the region. 0312
