Robert Horvat: “My dream is to change the phone number”

As we reported yesterday, on June 1, MP Robert Horvat was personally receiving citizens.

About a dozen people came to tell Robert Horvat about their problems.

Restoration of the iconostasis in the local church, reconstruction of a kindergarten in Hudlyovo, problems of a religious community in Onokivtsi, conflict of interests in Kinchesh, support for talented athletes – Horvat is not surprised by the range of people’s problems – he faces them every day. "Frankly, personal reception takes place every day. Hundreds of people know my phone number, and call every day with their problems. Honestly? Sometimes I want to change the phone number…" – Robert Horvat smiles. However, given that he always answers the calls in between conversations with people, he is not going to do it.

Robert Horvat admits that the lion’s share of appeals relates to financial aid. However, he says that sometimes problems can be solved without it.   

In the cases when he can help immediately, Horvat does not hesitate and helps. When asked whether he should be mentioned as the one who helped, he strongly shakes his head: "No, don’t!". So, we sincerely wish another Transcarpathian sport talent success on the international arena!
