Rise of water level is expected on the rivers of Transcarpathia: from 1 m to 2.5 m This was announced today at a press conference by the director of Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center Mykola Kulbida. Already today, rise of water level is observed on the Tisa and all the rivers of Transcarpathia – he said. According to Kulbida, these water rises are associated with precipitation, but no significant rise of the water is observed nor is expected in the coming days. Maximum – up to 1 meter, and in some lower reaches – maximum by 2.5 meters. It is a natural phenomenon and constitutes no threat, – he added. Recall that the danger of avalanches in the Carpathians remains for the next week. Additional snow cover appeared in the Carpathians, especially in the western part of the Carpathians and in the Chernivtsi region – Kulbida said.
