In the Carpathians of Zakarpattia, a tourist from Kyiv region required rescue assistance.
A group of travelers set out to conquer the highest peak of Polonyna Borzhava. However, for a 35-year-old woman from Kyiv region, this hike became a challenge due to the heat and worsening health. This was reported by the Zakarpattia State Emergency Service.
On August 25, tourists who were ascending Mount Stiy reached out to the Rescue Service for help. They reported that one of the hikers felt unwell and needed medical and rescue assistance.
The rescuers from the Volovets mountain search and rescue team quickly arrived at the location and transported the woman by ATV to the lower station of the ski lift in the village of Pylypets.
The woman declined further hospitalization as her condition significantly improved.
