Regional Spartakiad Games among deputies of different levels launched in Transcarpathia

Today, the competition of the regional Spartakiad Games among members of regional, district, city councils took place in Uzhgorod.

15 teams from districts and cities of the region consisting of deputies of different levels take part in the sports competition. The competitions in the following sports take place: indoor football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, checkers. More than 200 deputies of different levels, village and city mayors will take part in the competition.  

 The chairman of the regional Spartakiad Games organizing committee, the chairman of the Regional Council Volodymyr Chubirko opened the event with greetings and wishes of victories.

The head of the Youth and Sports Department of the Regional State Administration Denys Man also welcomed the participants of the competition.

The chief judge, master of sports Anatoly Plekhanov announced the program of the competition and invited the teams to the competition venues. 

And from 9 to 13 June, the Nationwide Spartakiad Games among deputies of different levels will take part in Uzhgorod for the first time. 14 teams of regional councils confirmed their participation in the event, and that is more than 300 people, who will be competing in five sports: football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, checkers, under current competition rules, approved by the federations of these sports.
