Recreation stations for tourists have been arranged in Transcarpathian forests

Visits to forests are becoming increasingly popular pastime in Transcarpathia. After all, forests in Transcarpathian give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of their favorite time of year. This happens due to the development of recreational infrastructure. In turn, the priority of Transcarpathian foresters is the protection of forests, update of existing recreational stations in green areas of the region and creation of new ones. Recreation in forest should be safe, convenient and comfortable.

Usually recreational stations are located in the most visited forest areas, or, most often, along highways. Panels and stands inform about the rules of conduct in the forest, use of fire, liability for violation of forest laws.

Foresters create in the recreational stations places for active tourist recreation and equip special places for making fires, to prevent forest fires, install trash bins. They also lay ecological trails for hiking…

Such objects are constructed in remote forest areas and near settlement, primarily in areas with beautiful natural landscapes, where there are many people on weekends or holidays. "Now, more than a dozen recreational stations have been created in the forestry, in particular at the foot of the Synevyr pass and along the roads of national importance at the Torunsky pass, on the border of the town of Mizhhirya and the village of Soimy, Zavyryshche tract. on the outskirts of the village of Vuchkove and in remote corners of the forest – Kozyay, Povchova, Hrabovets tracts. We also plan to set up stations in the Izky forestry, near the Shypit waterfall and known Kelechyn mineral sources", the director of "Mizhhirya forestry" Ivan Barna said.

The development of the recreational stations continues constantly, because Mizhhirya district is rich in beautiful, scenic forest landscapes and popular tourist destinations. These measures, in turn, help to protect forests from fires and possible contamination with waste, control and regulate human activities in forests. Similar recreational stations are also being created in other forestries of Transcarpathia.
