Receipt of vehicle tax exceeded UAH 1.6 million

   Since the beginning of 2015, 1.605 million hryvnia of vehicle tax has been paid, which exceeds the expected figure by almost 85 thousand.  In October this year, taxpayers have paid UAH 349.7 thousand of the said tax.

               The Tax Inspectorate of Uzhgorod has registered 82 individuals and 4 entities that are owners of vehicles that are subject to taxation. According to the formed notices, that have been sent to them, the expected revenues amount to more than UAH 1.9 million. This information was announced by the deputy head of Uzhgorod STI Vasyl Dyulai.

             Since the beginning of the year, vehicle tax payers are physical and legal persons who own cars registered in Ukraine that have been in use for up to 5 years and have engine volumes more than 3,000 cubic cm. The tax rate is UAH 25,000 per calendar year for each car that is subject to taxation.

         Tax notice on payment of tax and the corresponding payment details are sent or handed to a taxpayer by a supervisory authority at the place of registration by July 1 of the base tax (reporting) period year.
