Rare trees have been planted in Uzhgorod

White ash, European larch – from now on, these trees can be found in the forest fund of the Dubky tract in Uzhgorod district. On April 4, within the framework of the campaign "The future of the forest is in your hands" organized by the Uzhgorod State Forestry Service, more than 1500 unique trees were planted there.

Ash and larch are listed in the Red Book of Ukraine, and they grow naturally in the Transcarpathian region only.

On the same day, the leaders of Transcarpathian region and Uzhgorod district visited the Mercy Farm in the village of Nevytske. The farm was founded as a cooperation of the Charitable Foundation "Charity House" in Transcarpathia with Norwegian donors and the humanitarian organization KPK-Ukraina.

The proceeds of the Mercy Farm are used for various projects of the charitable fund "Charity House" – hospitals, orphanages, poor people, eastern regions of Ukraine, and others. The products of the farm are in demand not only in Transcarpathia, but also far beyond.

At the end of the meeting, the officials wished the farm further development and success, and its owners and employees – good health, happiness, harmony and peace, – the Uzhgorod city council informs.
