The first test train in the Beskyd tunnel is planned to be launched in the 4th quarter of 2017. This was announced during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers by the Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan, the correspondent of the UNN informs.
"Beskyd tunnel. This year we plan to open it, and it is really a gateway to Europe… We plan to complete all work in Q4 2017 and we hope that the first test train will run at the same time" – V.Omelyan said.
He said that full operation of the Beskyd tunnel is planned for the second quarter of 2018.
"After the completion of the project, the traffic capacity will increase more than twice," – V.Omelyan said.
