Public events in the center of Uzhgorod may be restricted

The deputies intend to restrict public events in the city center – on Teatralna square, Korzo and Voloshin streets – so that noise would not disturb residents. This issue is proposed at the Executive Committee to be held on October 24.

"Among the issues proposed at the executive committee, there is an interesting one: "On the restriction of public events on Teatralna Sq."
We know that our mayor’s mother lives on Teatralna sq. Perhaps, this issue is proposed at her request. But Teatralna is the only square of ​​the city suitable for holding public events. There is a stage with equipment connectivity there. If you want to hold events on Poshtova square or near the Drama Theater, you have to rent a stage, and it costs a lot of money. For events, that are not financed by the state or the party, it is quite difficult. I hope this issue will be carefully considered," – the head of the Transcarpathian League of KVN, the organizer of many events, attractions in the city Serhiy Denysenko wrote in the group "Uzhgorod" in Facebook.
