Prosecutors are ready to sue the city council about the Kasperov’s apartment

At the today’s press conference, the prosecutor of Transcarpathian Region Volodymyr Korban assured reporters that… he reads everything. "After each publication, if it reveals violations, we immediately respond and initiate the inspection," – Volodymyr Korban, who was appointed as the Prosecutor of Transcarpathian region in early June, said.

Among the materials, which prompted prosecutors to initiate checks, there is the material posted on uzhgorod.in regarding a questionable legality of granting an apartment to the official of the City Council – the director of the Municipal Economy Department Oleksiy Kasperov.

The deputy prosecutor Vitaliy Roman informed in detail: "The inspection is being conducted by Uzhgorod prosecution, and the regional prosecutors supervise this case. The inspection has already revealed sufficient grounds to issue a claim to the City Council to cancel the decision on the lease contract."

Also the inspection of the privatization of municipal pharmacies is on-going.

And, as reported by the prosecutor’s office after the press conference "behind the scenes", they will check decisions of the Uzhgorod city council adopted over at least six past months, as they say "there are a lot of questions."

Also, as it became known uzhgorod.in from its own sources, the Security Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathia became interested in sale of the land beneath the "Uzhgorod" cinema.
