Today, an open air seminar "Uzhgorod in May" with the participation of amateur and professional artists, took place at the Regional Organizational and Methodical Centre of Culture. Amateur artists had the opportunity to work alongside professionals, to watch them in the process of work, to hear their advice. And also, to talk in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
The open air seminar was attended by Emma Levadska, Tetyana Sopilnyk, Olena Goral-Grischuk, Oleksandr Sidoruk, Vasyl Vovchok, Petro Sholtes from Uzhgorod, Olga Gal and Lyubov Shpak from the city of Vynogradiv, Antonína Durda and Nadia Verbyschuk ftom Irshava district, Mykhailo Hryha from Volovets, Irina Popdyakunyk from the city of Mukachevo, Magdalyna Berezanych from Velyky Berezny.
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine Petro Sholtes spoke on "Landscape in the works of Transcarpathian artists." He also shared his memories of the famous artists of the region, who have become classics.
At the end, there was a review, discussion of the paintings painted by the seminar participants and summing up by the director of the Regional Organizational and Methodical Center of Culture Hanna Drohalchuk.
During the seminar, the participants visited the gallery-workshop of the famous sculptor and painter Ivan Masnyuk.
