Privatbank apologizes

Financial collapse! On 4 and 5 of April, it was impossible either to withdraw or deposit money on 
accounts through Privatbank ATMs.
The screens of ATMs informed that the inconveniences had arisen due to routine maintenance. The 
situation was not resolved even the next day – April 5. All clients of the bank became hostages of the 
situation. Employees of the institution explained that failure of the system had occurred due to the 
bank security system updates. But these technical problems were not expected – it was planned that 
the system would be updated and working properly. However, the latter could not withstand the 
load. But money from bank cards could be withdrawn without a fee at the bank windows or ATMs of 
other banks. The Privatbank malfunction occurred throughout Ukraine. They promised to eliminate 
the inconvenience ATMs by the end of April 5.
