On October 28, Transcarpathian Academic Regional Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater launched the 73rd theatrical season. And on Sunday, November 4, the first premiere in the new season will take place.
At 18.30, the musical performance "A Piece for Butterflies and Orchestra" staged by Mykhailo Milmeister will be presented to the audience. It was the theater concertmaster Tetyana Bulanova who suggested to create a performance for children about music. After all, many children do not understand it and do not want to go to music school. The play about the journey to the magical kingdom of music was written by Hava Aisel-Valaamova, who has already worked with Mykhailo Milmeister. (Together they created musical and historical fairy tale "My Charming Esther", which is running in the theater).
"A Piece for Butterflies and Orchestra" will be very unusual. The musicians of the theater orchestra will be acting as their instruments on the stage. The play will be interesting and even for adult audiences. Therefore, director Mykhailo Milmeister described the new production as a play for family viewing. It features a lot of music by famous composers – from classics to our contemporaries.
On Sunday, November 4, at 17.30, there will be a press conference with the management of the theater and the director Mykhail Milmeister.
