Poroshenko signed the law on facilitating business

Poroshenko signed the law "On amendments to certain legislative acts of Ukraine on facilitating business (deregulation)", which was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on February 12 this year.

This is stated by the press service of the MAPF

As noted, this law is important for the agricultural sector. After all, it overrides the need to obtain 14 permits (certificates, licenses).

In addition, the law regulates relations in land area, including compulsory drafting of rotation projects. It also sets the minimum term of land lease – 7 years, obliges the tenant to pay rent in cash only, reduces the list of the essential conditions of the lease.

These changes will certainly facilitate conducting agribusiness and promote the competitiveness of domestic products, the statement reads.

The main purpose of the law is the deregulation of economic activity, bringing the law in some areas in line with the EU legal framework.

The law simplifies the procedure for starting and conduct of economic activity, reduces licensing and conciliation procedures, reduces the impact of the public authorities on the business activities, increases levels of investor rights protection.

The reduction of functions and optimization of administrative regulation of economic activity will contribute to a more favorable business environment in Ukraine and will increase the protection of business entities.
