Police and journalists were catching parking rules violators on the streets and squares of Uzhgorod (PHOTOS)

Today, in Uzhgorod, journalists of several Transcarpathian TV channels and online media took part in the raid of patrol police crews against the drivers parking the cars with particularly egregious violations of traffic rules.

In particular, in afternoon they were working on S. Petofi square. The driver of a car "Renault" stopped right on the pedestrian crossing, near the restaurant "Varosh".

Before they finished drawing up the report of violation against that driver, another car parked nearby. Pedestrians had to maneuver between the cars standing closely along the entire square. The driver of another car – a "BMW" – also parked his car on the pedestrian crossing on the other side of the square – near the "Ukreximbank".

Every time the tow truck approached those cars, the drivers would immediately show up and convince that they had stopped there "just for a moment", that they "did not see that it was a pedestrian crossing and somehow did not see the road sign too." The police drew up relevant reports against every driver, and they will pay fines.

However, in such difficult weather conditions, chaotically parked cars hinder not only pedestrians – it is also a big problem for snow plowers.
