Pogorelov did not keep his word

Today,  at the meeting of Uzhgorod City Executive Committee, the City Hall submitted the draft decision "On the cancellation of the decision of the executive committee of Uzhgorod City Council dd. 21.08.2013 № 289 "On reorganization of the educational complex "Yalynka."

Recall that on August 21 this year, nine days before the start of the new school year, the city council decided to reorganize the educational complex "Yalynka" – the city government suddenly decided against enrolling first-graders and to transfer them to secondary school № 20 instead. Then, at the meeting of the Executive Committee, they decided that the "reform" in the "Yakynks" would run until December 1, 2013.

Also during the consideration of the draft decision to reorganize the institution, the Mayor Pogorelov said firmly: "The process is irreversible," and said that the "reform" in the "Yalynka" would continue. The institution was to be converted into a kindergarten. Then Pogorelov promised that this reorganization would affect other institutions where kindergarten groups and first to third grades of school are combined.
