uzhgorod.in’s fight with parking rules violators in Uzhgorod is gaining new momentum. Today, we received an e-mail from ® Concerned Uzhgorod Residents.

"Almost every day in the center of Uzhgorod is like under the slogan "I park where I want." Owners of private cars in broad daylight block a stop for public transport on Petofi square by their arrogant and also illegal "parking".
They disregard traffic rules and road signs that are installed nearby. The local authorities are seemingly trying to fight this by posting photos of such offenders on their official website. But unfortunately it is not known whether the relevant departments of the City Council report to the traffic police about the actual prosecution of the perpetrators and prevention of future violations.
But we hope that competent authorities will take measures against the drivers, whose cars are depicted on the photos, and to prevent such violations in the future!
July 22 was not an exception – the owners of three cars blocked the entrance for public transport.
