Personal records of Uzhgorod district residents may be destroyed because of flooding in the registrar’s office (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

The premises rented by Uzhgorod district registrar’s office of the Main Territorial Department of Justice in Transcarpathian region are in bad condition, the mukachevo.today informs.

During bad weather, workers have to put buckets and rags on the flow, because it is raining right from the ceiling.

And while the workers can hide under umbrellas, the situation with documents is more difficult.

It should be noted that here, at the registrar’s office, people register marriages, newborns or come for death certificates. And those paper records are in jeopardy.

If these records are damaged by water, the history of the Uzhgorod district residents will disappear.
