Panov has been noted in the National rating “Portrait of a Successful Contemporary”

For several years the National rating "Portrait of a Successful Contemporary" has noted outstanding Ukrainians. The rating philosophy is to bring to the public the stories of modern Ukrainians who have made significant progress in the political, social, business sectors. This year’s rating noted famous Transcarpathian diplomat, lawyer, scientist and social activist Alen Panov.

According to the authors of the publication, Panov "is a young but well-recognized in Ukraine Transcarpathian, who is known as a competent, humane, outcome driven expert since his service as the deputy mayor of Uzhgorod. Working as the Consul of Ukraine in Nyiregyhaza, he always defended the interests of the citizens of his own country, introduced around-the-clock "hot line" to report of all emergencies that happened to Ukrainians on the territory of his consular district. One of the most significant achievements is that he won a court in Hungary, which having considered the claim of the diplomat, made an unprecedented decision in favor of the Ukrainian citizen. The man of pro-Western thinking, a patriot of his country, the author of ideas for the development of Uzhhorod, by the best examples of European cities."
