A TV report of Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Art "PADIUN" named "To Valentine’s Day" won "Best TV report" at the 15th National competition among school newspapers in Nikolaev.
This year the 15th National Competition for school newspapers gathered in Nikolaev participants from Ukraine, Russia and Bulgaria. More than 3,000 works have been sent for the jury’s assessment: printed, electronic media, separate pictures, television and radio reports. 300 of them were selected and assessed in 23 categories.
The "School Journal" (Kamenets-Podolsk school № 10, Khmelnytsky region) has become the best school newspaper, the original one – "Maslenitsa" (4-b grade of Nikolaev specialized School of Applied Arts and Crafts). "Birchen Miracle" has become a winner among the electronic media (Berezdovsky TEC, Khmelnytsky region), and the best multimedia publishing house has been organized by children’s and youth’ media center of the children and teenagers houses in Smela (Cherkasy region). Among the foreign participants the victory was celebrated by K. Pereyaslavsky National Gymnasium of Humanities and Arts from Varna (Bulgaria) and the Municipal Educational Institution №20 from Yeisk Krasnodar region (Russia).
Among more than 3,000 works the jury appreciated the video work of the Transcarpathian Regional Palace of Children and Youth Art "PADIUN." In the nomination "The best TV report" "To Valentine’s Day" won. The authors of the TV report – the head of the group "Young TV reporters and anchors" Olga Timko and a correspondent Danielle Lukach – were awarded the diploma, prizes and a commemorative statuette of the competition. The ceremony was held at the festive scene of Nikolaev City Palace of learners’ creativity.
We are emphasizing that the organizers of the 15th National Competition of school newspapers as usual were the National Journalists Union of Ukraine, National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, Association of Youth Press and the College of press and television (Nikolaev). Also the event was attended by the staff of China, Russia and Germany Consulates. Due to the interest of foreign countries, the organizers made a proposal to give the contest the status of international competition, the press service of "PADIUN" reports.
