Packed a truck with cigarettes: a foreigner lost a vehicle on the border in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Because of cigarettes, a foreign national lost his truck. 
This morning, at the checkpoint "Dyakovo", border guards of the Mukachevo detachment, together with the fiscal authorities, prevented an attempt to illegally move cigarettes across the border. A 64-year-old Serbian citizen, who had arrived at the checkpoint by a truck Renault, tried to hide tobacco products from law enforcement. The foreigner was transporting sulfate from Russia to Serbia. During an in-depth inspection of the vehicle, a joint inspection group of border guards and customs officers found in the driver’s cab 1090 packs of cigarettes hidden under the lining. The cigarettes and the truck were seized from the driver. The value of the seized goods is currently being established.
