The 6th state fire and rescue unit of the city of Vynogradiv received a report about a fire in a car "Fiat Scudo" made in 2009 on the highway Vynogradiv – V. Kopanya. A crew of rescuers was sent to this address. Firefighters arrived a few minutes later, but thanks to the actions of the owner and other citizens, the fire was eliminated before the arrival of the firefighting crew.
As a result of the fire, the engine compartment of the car was damaged.
And the day before, Transcarpathian rescuers were reported about a fire in a car Volkswagen Golf made in 2000 in the village of Hlyboke in Uzhgorod district. The fire started in the instrument panel of the car.
At 15:17, rescuers of the 15th state fire and rescue part of the city of Uzhgorod and the 16th state fire and rescue unit of the town of Serednye of Uzhgorod district contained the fire, and completely eliminated it six minutes later. The fire damaged the interior of the vehicle.
In both cases, there were no victims. Specialists of the relevant services are currently determining the causes of fire and the amount of damage.
