Ophthalmologists to gather in Uzhgorod

On April 26 and 27 in the premises of the economic faculty of Uzhgorod National University Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference of Ophthalmologists from Transcarpathian, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Chernivtsi regions, named ‘Topical issues of ophthalmology ‘ will be held, the press center of Healthcare Department in the Transcarpathian region informs.
The conference starts at 9.00.
Before the beginning of the conference at 8.40 a.m. the director of the institute ‘Institute of Eye Diseases and Tissue Therapy after V.P. Filatov of Medical Sciences of Ukraine,’ prof., Pasechnikova Natalia Vladimirovna, the head of Healthcare Department in Transcarpathian region Roman Shnitser and the regional ophthalmologist Oleg Moroz will tell the media about the state of ophthalmic services in Ukraine and the region, as well as about modern technologies in treatment of eye diseases.
It will also be possible to speak to scientists, doctors and reporters during a break from 1.00 p.m. till 2.00 p.m. in the first day of the conference.
