On Sobranetska street, a student driver hit a pedestrian

In Uzhgorod, on Sobranetska street, a jeep "Honda" driven by a university student injured a pedestrian, who was crossing the road in prohibited place. The victim was hospitalized, the car was taken to the police impound lot. Investigators are finding out the circumstances of the case. 

Today, about two in the morning, the police received a report of an accident with a victim on Sobranetska street in Uzhgorod. Patrol police, investigative team arrived at the scene.

Law enforcement officers found out that the car "Honda" driven by a 20-year-old university student, moving in the direction of the airport, had hit a 29-year-old Uzhgorod resident, who was crossing the road in prohibited place.

The victim with numerous broken ribs and other injuries was hospitalized. The car was taken to the police impound lot.

The police began investigating into the accident. The driver of the jeep was tested for alcoholic intoxication – he was sober.
