On Koryatovich street in Uzhgorod, a bus “rubbed itself” against an SUV (PHOTOFACT)

Today, at about 18:00, at the beginning of Koryatovich street (opposite the former "Molocharnya"), an accident happened.

The bus number 7, driving between two cars parked on the both sides of the road, grazed one of them – an off-road car Hyundai Santa Fe. When our correspondent arrived at the scene of the accident, the passengers had already left the bus, which was staying there with emergency lights on.

At first glance, Hyundai suffered no significant damage. However, traffic on Koryatovich street for a long time was completely blocked, and motor vehicles had to go via Zhupanatska street, where a congestion was formed.

It should be noted that because of the snow-banks, the SUV was parked quite far from the edge of the roadway. As we see in the photo, there was not enough space for a wide bus to go through, so this kind of road accident is not surprising. The owner of the Hyundai and other motorists should consider if it is a good idea to leave their cars parked like that.
