On Independence Day, bicycle patrols appeared on the streets of Mukachevo

Most of the planned festivities on the Independence Day in Mukachevo have already taken place. In the morning, during the festive procession in embroidery, the resident and guests of the city were joined by officers of Uzhgorod and Mukachevo Patrol Police Office. Patrol policemen with national symbols on the jackets marched in the center of the city, and then sang the anthem of Ukraine with the people.
Today, on the Independence Day, the first bicycle patrol appeared on the streets of Mukachevo. From now on, the crew on new powerful bikes will be guarding peace and order in the city center, as well as pedestrian and park areas.
The patrol consists of two persons who will be performing the same duties as their colleagues in police cars. The police bikes are equipped with everything necessary for full and efficient performance of the duties assigned to patrol policemen. In addition, the bike mobility will enable to identify and record violations in the pedestrian parts of the city and ensure order in the park.
