The name of the person who will currently be UzhNU rector was announced today. Vitalii Nikolaichuk professor and former dean of the Biology Faculty became a new rector.
According to Mukachevo.net online edition, which managed to contact with the former rector Mykola Vegesh and he commented on the new appointment as follows:
‘Just imagine, if hadn’t appointed Nikolaichuk for a new term of being dean, so I did so for some reason, therefore I appointed another person.
I think that this is not the progress, I am deeply convinced that Nikolaichuk is the transitional figure, and the Ministry has put a weak person who will not defend the universities interests, who sooner or later surrenders his authorities to Vashchuk. Let the time pass and we will see whether I was right.’
