10 teams cooked Transcarpathian culinary hallmark – an obligatory treat at any festival. Each one had its secrets: different kinds of meat with their own spices, vegetables, with or without dough, some even added cream and some were cooking without fat.
The common denominator, of course, was a long duration of cooking (it is believed that the dish, which is cooked mostly by men, must be on fire for at least a few hours) and, of course, a metal pot. Actually, bograch means pot in Hungarian.
