New Year’s surprise: children’s hospital in Uzhgorod has received a new medical equipment (PHOTOS)

New medical equipment, as well as two modern TVs were purchased for the outpatient department of Uzhgorod city children’s hospital at the expense of the city budget

According to the press service of the Uzhgorod City Council, more than 300 thousand hryvnias was spent for this.

In particular, they purchased an acidogastrometer – a device to determine acidity of the stomach, esophagus, etc., which allows to choose the correct treatment for children with problems of the gastrointestinal tract.

Also, the head of the Uzhgorod City Children’s Clinical Hospital, Igor Roshko, said, they purchased a hematology analyzer that automatically performs blood test, simplifies the work of the staff and allows to perform the analysis quickly. This device is similar to those usually found in private clinics. They also bought a urine analyzer, which allows to get results in a very short time, perform rapid diagnostics.

A new physiotherapy device "Radius" will help to carry out physiotherapy procedures for children with diseases of orthopedic profile and bronchopulmonary pathology.

Another plan is to make children’s corners in the corridors, set up tables, chairs, and TV sets to make waiting for a doctor easier and more comfortable.

Medical workers were also assured that in 2020 renovation would be carried out in the clinic, in fact, it has already started.
