Report of the "Synevyr" National Nature Park.
On Tuesday, October 1, two new bears were brought to the Rehabilitation Center for Brown Bears of the "Synevyr" National Nature Park. Until now, they have been kept at a private estate in Kyiv region. The owner voluntarily gave the animals to the specialized institution of the national park.
According to veterinarian Mykhailo Maslei, two males Misha and Grisha need treatment, so they are now staying in the quarantine sector. They will have to be there for a while under the supervision of a veterinarian. First of all, the bears need to have their teeth treated. They have also developed a diet that will make the bears physically stronger. Now the weight of each bear is 200 kilograms.
The transportation of the animals from Kyiv region to the Carpathians was successful. Now, Misha and Grisha have joined the family of the 32 animals in the rehabilitation center of the "Synevyr" National Nature Park.
