A new branch of the gas pipeline, which will supply gas to neighboring villages, was solemnly opened in the village of Bila Tserkva in Rakhiv district.
The new gas pipeline was laid from the village of Solotvyno in the neighboring Tyachiv district, the necessary works were financed and performed (in total more than 5.6 million hryvnias) by the Ukrhazvydobuvannya PJSC.

Recall that on the outskirts of B.Tserkva, gas company workers opened the well number 15 with a flow of more than 50 thousand cubic meters of gas per day. The talks about the need for gasification of neighboring settlements began several years ago, but they were only at the level of creating working groups and recommendations. But in 2016, gas company finally began laying a gas pipeline from B. Tserkva to Solotvyno and restoring gas supply, which was there back in the days of the USSR. In January 2017, the gas pipeline was launched, now the extracted gas is supplied to two 9-storey and four 5-storey houses of Solotvyno, so the village is fully gasified. After that, the gas company laid a gas pipeline back to B.Tserkva. The next stage is the development of a street network so that every family that wants to use natural gas could connect to the gas pipeline.

Today, Rakhiv district is the only district in Transcarpathian and one of the few in Ukraine, which are not gasified at all.

The diameter of the opened gas pipeline is 220 millimeters, which will allow to extend it from Bila Tserkva to Velyky Bychkiv – the second largest settlement of Rakhiv district, – the press service of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration reports.
