Nearly one million will be allocated for the support of the children of IDPs and the ATO participants

The support program for children of the antiterrorist operation participants and children from families displaced from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and areas of the antiterrorist operation in educational institutions of the city for 2016 has been developed in Uzhgorod. They plan to consider it tomorrow, at the meeting of the executive committee. They plan to allocate for the program 915 thousand hryvnia.

While at the beginning of 2015, 136 children, whose parents participate in the ATO and 197 children displaced from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and areas of the antiterrorist operation were studying at schools of the city, as of September 2015, the number of children whose parents participate in the ATO in the east is 471 children – 314 students in secondary schools and 157 pupils in pre-schools; the number of children displaced from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and areas of the antiterrorist operation is 205 – 118 students in secondary schools and 57 pupils in pre-schools.

Under the program, students of secondary schools and pupils of pre-schools, who are children of the ATO participants, and children from the families displaced from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and areas of the antiterrorist operation, will be provided with additional benefits particularly in terms of feeding at the expense of the state budget.
