For many months, the diner in the "Radvanka" neighborhood in Uzhgorod on Bohatyrska Street has been offering free lunches for Roma children from poor families, social activist Miroslav Horvat informed.
It was founded by a Roma pastor of the church "Aven Ezer" ("Stone of help") Ivan Baloh.
First, the dining room "at home" was feeding twenty children, then forty. Now they are feeding 68 children! Once a week, children can have hot meals. The food is cooked by two women – Clara Baloh and Yelizaveta Kitso with the help of volunteers.
It should be noted that many patrons, including Miroslav Horvat himself, have contributed to this cause.
