In order to improve the professional level of the company and to update the repertory of Mukachevo Drama Theater, the management of the theater invited the famous director, Honored Artist of Ukraine Yuriy Kochevenko.
The director came to Mukachevo from Kyiv. He has staged a considerable number of plays in major theaters of the country, produced large-scale original theatrical performances, worked in film industry. Since 2011, he has been teaching professional acting at the Institute of Television, Film and Theater of Kyiv International University.
His directing style is characterized by a highly independent thinking: he himself chooses plays, actors and methods, that are every time exclusive. He works in the manner of psychological theater.
