Mukachevo symmetrically responded to the decision on the introduction of license fee

Mukachevo authorities decided to return gas networks to the community.

This decision was proposed by the Mayor Andriy Baloha. "Gas is a commodity that is sold in the city by a private company. All private companies in the city pay for land use, and the gas company pays nothing. There is the decision of the session: taxes must be paid for land use. Because of the "innovation", residents of Mukachevo have to pay annually 60-65 million of the fee for gas. With this money, the city can give up the gas and heat the houses with electricity at the expense of the city", – the Mayor stated.

The transfer of gas networks to the balance sheet of the city is done for preventing unjustified and unwarranted gratuitous use of property (gas network) of the local community and for effective use thereof in the interests of residents, Mukachevo City Council informed on its page on Facebook.

Recall that it is not the first attempt to introduce a monthly flat fee. Meanwhile, the Prime Minister of Ukraine sharply retorted to such innovations, and Transcarpathian regional deputies call for an extraordinary session for the response. And the "Zakarpathaz" is convening a press conference on April 5 to "tell about the innovations in the gas market, including the introduction of separate fee for gas distribution and transportation."
