Mukachevo castle disappeared in smoke (PHOTOS)

Despite the prohibition and administrative responsibility, residents of Mukachevo keep setting fire to dry grass. The fire probably started due to burning of fallen leaves.

But sometimes the fire goes out of control, as it happened today, on March 2, in Mukachevo, on Avtomobilisty street, around 16:00.

Two units of fire-fighting equipment were sent at the scene.

According to Article 77 of Part 1 "Unauthorized burning of vegetation or its residues" of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, burning of dry grass in settlements without permission of state environmental control bodies or in violation of the conditions of such permission entail imposition of a fine on citizens in amount of ten to twenty non-taxable minimum incomes, and on officials – fifty to seventy non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens.

Rescuers regularly urge citizens to stop committing such actions.
