10,775 graduates in Transcarpathia received certificates of secondary education. In the region as a whole, 181 students claim for silver medals, and 610 – for gold medals. The leader is Tyachiv district where 88 students can get the gold medal. In Uzhgorod – 86, Mukachevo – 36, in Vynogradiv district – 49, Irshava district – 48, Rakhiv district – 58. The least number of medalists will be in the city ofChop, Perechyn and Beregovo districts.
Overall, 7462 graduates in our region have registered for external independent evaluation.
According to the Department of Education and Science, Youth and Sport of the Regional State Administration, the next 2013-2014 school year will be rich in innovations. Thus, according to the state standard of primary education, the subject of "Steps to information science" will be introduced in the 2 grade, and the mandatory second foreign language in the 5 grade.
