April 28, at 13:10, Transcarpathian rescuers received a call from a resident of the village of Tyihlash in Uzhgorod district. He reported that during a fishing trip he saw on the bank of the Latorytsya river a suspicious object that looked like an explosive. Later, pyrotechnics identified the munition as an 82 mm mortar shell and destroyed it in a specially designated place.
The next day, April 29, at 13:30, the Rescue Service was reported about the discovery of another munition. And again, it was found in the river. The suspicious object was found by local residents on the bank of the Uzh river on Uzhanska street in Uzhgorod. The explosive object, which turned out to be an 82 mm mortar shell, was removed and destroyed.
