More than 17 million hryvnias is provided for the program “Care” for 2015

The draft decision on the program "Care" to strengthen social protection for 2015 is to be considered at the next session of the Regional Council.

             One of its main objectives is provision of one-time financial assistance to low-income citizens, disabled, large and incomplete families, participants of the antiterrorist operation, war and labor veterans, persons with disabilities.

It is also envisaged to provide one-time financial assistance to victims of political repression, widows of Sich Riflemen, UPA veterans and other participants of the national liberation movement.

It is proposed to reimburse parents’ expenses for purchase of vouchers for treatment of children with cerebral palsy, congenital malformations of the nervous system at the "International Clinic of Restorative Treatment" limited liability company in the city of Truskavets (in consultation with the regional neurologist);

The draft decision developers also provided for the financial support to the families of killed and injured participants of public protests, which began in Ukraine on November 21, 2013, as well as wounded, families of killed and wounded residents of Transcarpathian region – participants of the antiterrorist operation.

The financing of the activities for the program is to be done at the expense of the regional budget. The projected funding of the program from the regional budget is 17,233,400 UAH.
